Race Details
  • Note NEW RACE DATE Sunday June 9. Date changes are always an improvement for some and a disappointment for others... this change was driven by other races in the USATF-NE Mtn Series changing dates. But the new date should be a treat for any Mt. Washington racers as the new Ascutney date is 1 week prior and is a great prep at about half the distance and a similiar grade to Washington.
  • USATF Sanctioned EventPre-race Registration - $15 online (until 2 days before event) or by mail (postmarked 5 days before event). Sorry no refunds
  • Race-day Registration - $20 - Opens at 7:30 AM
  • Registration options: Race t-shirts for $8. Summit parking passes $3.
  • Yummy post race food and awards at the summit parking lot (at the finish area)
  • Bag transport provided so you can have warm/dry clothes at the post race festivities
  • Please make arrangements for transportation down the mountain (most likely the same way you got up the mountainÂ… with your own two feet!)

  • Course
  • Route: Start at the State Park entrance, run up the paved Auto Road 3.7 miles, finish at the summit parking lot.
  • One water stop on the course, approximately half-way up the mountain
  • A USATF Sanctioned Event. Headphones are permitted (per updated USATF rules) but baby strollers are strictly forbidden in the race

  • Categories & Prizes
  • Overall - Top 3 male and female runners
  • Age group - First place male and female (Categories: Under20, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+)

  • This is race 4 of 6 in the USATF-NE Mountain Running Series.
